Ur&Penn
Ur&Penn currently has more than 100 shops, 550 employees and a market share close to 30%. Geographically, the shops are spread from Kiruna in the north to Malmö in the south and their first shop in Finland opened in 2011.
With vertical storage lifts, WMS and a total solution from Weland Solutions, these shops are served by a batch picking/put-to-light solution and the facility performs approximately 1100 order rows per hour, when the picking demand is at its greatest. This is achieved by searching correctly on picking hits, both at the storage location level and the article number level, with the help of our WMS system Compact Store.
